I got my first taste of his playing at my brother Dean's apartment back in the early 70's. All I can say, that even though I grew up with the Beatles, this was a real awakening for me and helped inspire me to play the blues on the guitar myself.
I actually saw Johnny in the 70's but wish I was a little more aware of what was going on.
